How to Create Polka Dot Nails…
Have fun with Polka dot nails! I love adding polka dots to my nails, it makes them look so much more fun. Have a go…
What you need: Any 2 colors of your choice and a hair grip or a sharp pencil!
Step 1: Apply 2 coats of your base colour. I used MUA Cosmetics in Shade 1 which is a really beautiful colour.
Step 2: Take your hair grip or sharp pencil and dip it into the nail polish to add polka dots over all of your nails. The size and shape of the polka dots are more consistent when using a hair grip instead of a brush, I used a sharp pencil in order to get random dots.
Today is Tsiknopempti (Fat Thursday)!
In Orthodoxy Wednesday and Friday are days of fasting. So Thursday was the apropriate day for food! Tsiknopempti is 11 days before the Clean Monday. It is a day of fun and preparation for Lent before Easter.
It’s a Greek tradition. Everyone eats meat today. People gather all together and grill meat like steaks, souvlaki, lamb etc.
Here I post the Greek Syrtaki, a song that we all listen to today:
